Feeding guidelines (per bird per day)

Cockatiel / Lovebird - 1/3 cup

Ringneck / Senegal - 1/2 cup

African Grey / Amazon - 2/3 cup

Macaw / Large Cockatoo - 1 cup

Changing your bird's diet

Remember that changing your pet’s diet should be a gradual process. Introduce Animalzone Parrot food alongside your bird’s current food for the first two days. Then gradually increase the proportion of new food until after the 4th or 5th day you are only feeding Animalzone parrot food. Don’t be alarmed in the unlikely event that your bird does not take to its new food immediately, a bird will never starve itself. You can also add a little honey to its drinking water to enhance your pet’s energy levels. You should soon see an improvement in your bird’s general wellbeing and a marked improvement in the bird’s plumage.
